New Energy Materials and Technology Institute Ltd. of Dalian University of Technology (Qingdao) got the Ministry of Education's Industry-university-research Collaborative Education Project approval
Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the file Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education Letter on the Announcement of the Guidelines for Application of Industry-University Collaborative Education Projects (the First Batch of 2018). The projects “teaching content and curriculum system reform project”, “practical conditions and practical base construction project” and “innovation and entrepreneurship joint fund project” by New Energy Materials and Technology Institute Ltd. of Dalian University of Technology (Qingdao) were successfully approved.
The Ministry of Education's Industry-University Collaborative Education Projects is a spirit of the implementation of National Medium and Long Term Education Reform Development Plan and Implementation Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Deepening the Reform of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Colleges and Universities to innovate the industry-university collaborative education mechanism. The Ministry of Education organizes relevant enterprises to support university teachers and students to carry out this project, aiming at in-depth promotion of win-win cooperation between university personnel training and enterprise development. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, New Energy Materials and Technology Institute Ltd. of Dalian University of Technology (Qingdao) provides funding and equipment support. The university where the project leader is located signs project approval agreement, and all work should be completed within one year after the signing of project approval agreement. After the end of the project, the leader should submit a final report, and the institute will conduct acceptance of the project.
Since the establishment of New Energy Materials and Technology Institute Ltd. of Dalian University of Technology (Qingdao), we have intensively promoted the cooperation between industry and university, deepened the university-enterprise cooperation project, actively explored and expanded the Industry-University Collaborative Education Project. More than ten doctoral and master students have been enrolled in our institute to carry out related science and technology projects, to make sufficient reserves for the postdoctoral talents of our institute. In 2018, our institute will deeply support the talent cultivation and professional comprehensive reform in universities around the directions of “industrialization of scientific and technological achievements”, “new materials”, “new energy”, etc. The approval and implementation of our projects will play an important role in promoting the construction of industry-university-research collaborative education mechanism in our institute.
